Terms and conditions



Gare Cinquante-Cinq only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years old. Gare Cinquante-Cinq reserves the right to refuse a booking at any time, without giving reasons. After booking, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.


All prices are expressed in euros.
The price of each room includes:
- 6% VAT
- One night stay in the type of room booked
- Daily cleaning of room and bathroom
- Use of wireless internet
- Free parking
- Free access to common kitchen - sitting area
- Free coffee

The price of the room does not include:

- Meals
- Meeting facilities

To determine the number of people per booking period, the maximum number of people staying in the room for at least one night applies. Earlier departure will not result in a refund of tourist tax and charges.


When you book your stay, you pay the total invoice amount (room price, tourist tax, environmental tax, any service charges and extras).Your booking is only valid upon receipt of your payment.


If, after the conclusion of the booking, you wish to make changes to the booking, Gare Cinquante-Cinq is not obliged to comply. It is the free choice of Gare Cinquante-Cinq whether, and to what extent, those changes are accepted. In principle, changes within 48 hours before arrival will not be accepted, and will consequently lead to 100% of the stay as a cost.


1.    After receiving the reservation confirmation, you may cancel your booking within 24 hours starting from the date of dispatch.
2.    In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before the start of your stay, the 1st night of your stay is due.
3.    In case of cancellation within 48 hours before the start of your stay, the full invoice amount is due.
4.    In case of early termination of the stay, the full invoice amount is due.
5.    In the event of any discrepancy between 5.1. and 5.2., 5.3. shall prevail.
Payment of the provisions under b and c must be in the possession of Gare Cinquante-Cinq at the latest within 7 days after the date of the invoice.


In order to make the stay as pleasant as possible for all guests, all guests must comply with the rules of conduct laid down for the stay, laid down in the accommodation regulations. These regulations are available at www.gare55.be.

Pets are not allowed in the accommodation. Should you nevertheless enter the accommodation with pets, this will result in immediate removal from the accommodation, without any refund of the invoice amount or any part thereof.

There is a smoking ban in the entire accommodation, the fine for non-compliance is €250.00.

Violation of the rules may result in removal from the accommodation, with no refund of the invoice amount or part thereof. Gare Cinquante-Cinq reserves the right to make changes to the set-up and opening hours of its facilities. Please also note that maintenance work may be carried out in the accommodation during your stay without you being entitled to any compensation.


Force majeure on the part of Gare Cinquante-Cinq exists: if the execution of the agreement is partially or completely, temporarily or not, prevented by circumstances beyond the control of Gare Cinquante-Cinq. This includes: danger of war, personnel strikes, blockades, fire, floods and other disturbances or events.


1.    Gare Cinquante-Cinq accepts no liability for:

- theft, loss or damage of any kind during or as a result of staying at the accommodation. If you have broken or damaged something, report the damage and settle your debt. In this way, you will avoid being billed afterwards and additional administrative costs.
- the disabling or rendering inoperative of technical equipment and the failure or closure of facilities in the accommodation.

2.    The person who made the booking and those accompanying him or her shall be jointly and severally liable for any loss and/or damage which may arise for Gare Cinquante-Cinq and/or any third party as a direct or indirect result of their stay, regardless of whether this was caused by any act or omission on their part or on the part of third parties who are in the accommodation as a result of their actions as well as
of any damage caused by any property in their possession.
3.    Additional (cleaning) costs may be charged in case of improper use or failure to leave the room properly.


Despite all the care taken by Gare Cinquante-Cinq, it is possible that you may have a justified complaint. This complaint should be taken up directly with the management in order to enable them to resolve it immediately. Should the complaint not be resolved to your satisfaction, you will have until 1 week after the departure of the stay at the latest to submit the complaint in writing via info@gare55.be.


If either a guest or those accompanying him or her or who are in the accommodation by his or her actions, or a visitor, happens to be in a photo and/or video taken or recorded for reproduction in a Gare Cinquante-Cinq publication and/or for display on an Internet site of the Gare Cinquante-Cinq, his or her consent to the use of the photo and/or video in the publication and/or on the Internet site is presumed, even if he or she is recognisable in the photo and/or video.
